DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE CLASS
Saddle up for a cross-country adventure through the good old USA! Over the course of 2 years (if you so choose), take an in-depth look at all 50 states, the capital cities, and major landforms of this great country we call “home.” Lasso some facts and brand them into your notebook for long-term keeping: state birds, flowers, trees, travel, tourism, climate, animals, and more. Consider some famous heroes (possibly an outlaw or two as well!) and where they lived, studied, and worked. Open your eyes and hearts to see how our great Creator has blessed us with an amazing and beautiful land ~ for our joy and for His glory. Based on Loree Pettit & Dari Mullin’s resource Cantering the Country.
Note: This class covers different material over the course of 2 years. If your child was enrolled in it last year, it is still fitting to enroll again in order to complete his/her canter around the country!
