ABOUT THE CLASS
Join me as we journey through the solar system and God’s universe at lightning speed! Travel
with us as we visit each of the planets, explore stars and galaxies, and examine many of the
celestial jewels of the universe and show how each of them declare God’s glory. We will also study
motions of the stars in the night sky, and explore how to view and study the sky with the unaided
eye, binoculars, and a small telescope.

As we study about NASA and Space Travel, we will build and blast off rockets and learn some of
the physics behind how rockets work. The class will receive private telescope observing sessions
during the evening using one of my telescopes, in which they will view and learn to find some of
the beautiful objects in the night sky.

We will also be discussing the different worldviews that scientists apply when they study Astronomy, and lay out the strengths and weaknesses that come with each viewpoint. The curriculum I will be using is from a young earth perspective.
