This course is similar to the format and style of the younger classes, with one major difference: this course strives to be more cumulative and focused, with students taking more responsibility for their projects, choosing artists to research and basing artwork off of them. 

One of the goals of this class is to instill the importance and impact of art in our world and to give students the opportunity to grow in different creative directions, with purposeful guidance and direction.  It is for this reason that students will be asked to keep sketchbooks, in which entries will be made, either as class work or homework.  

This class is just as fun and engaging as the younger classes, but with more advanced materials, techniques, and results!

1. 8 x 10 (or larger) Sketchbook   

2. Paint shirt to be kept in backpack, especially during painting and sculpture units!
