About Jenny

I am excited to embark on this journey of teaching Culinary Arts for The Journey Homeschool Group again. I have a Human Ecology degree (aka: Home Economics) and I enjoy cooking and teaching others about food and nutrition. Besides my formal education, I have had twenty plus years of experience in homeschooling my children, gardening and preserving God’s bounty to be enjoyed. I look forward to passing down these life skills and wisdom to the students of Journey. When I’m not cooking, gardening or sewing, I enjoy learning from God’s word, planning vacations and visiting with family and friends.
