About Alex

Our family of five lives near Hammond, and you can usually find us at a local park, library, or out in the yard. We are members of Faith Community Church, part of the ECSC Missional Community, and involved in a local homeschool nature group. I’m looking forward to teaching this year, and sharing my enthusiasm for both Astronomy and Civics. I have been an airline pilot for the past 20 years, and I’ve also taught both weather and navigation as a flight instructor in classroom settings. I’m very excited to be able to share the fun, excitement, and the awe of God in these topics.
