About Nathan

Hello! As a homeschool graduate, I am excited to share my passion for Astronomy with your students. This will be my first year teaching at Journey. God instilled a love of Astronomy in me since I was 13 years old and I have been an amateur Astronomer for several years. I love to show people some of the wonders of the night sky through one of my four telescopes. I have given Astronomy presentations to multiple homeschool groups (including Journey) over the last couple of years and I look forward to giving more presentations this fall. When I’m not viewing the night sky through my telescope, I enjoy reading about Astronomy, theology, and especially military history because my family and I are Civil War re-enactors. During the winter I love to go skiing (both downhill and cross-country).
